The Resurrected Life

So...Pastor Ed, what do you mean by, the Resurrected Life?

As believers (those that have accepted Christ as Savior and Lord), we have been made alive in Christ and dead to sin. Our old life has been crucified and buried with Christ, just as He was. Christ dismantled the power and influence of sin over our lives through His death and resurrection so that we no longer have to live as slaves to sin, or subject to condemnation. We have been made alive through Christ's resurrection and live our lives free from the guilt of sin (Rom 6:3-11). So...if you are still dwelling on your past sins, or people are constantly throwing your past in your face... be reminded that you are forgiven, the old you is dead and buried, the new you is alive in Christ. And to top it off...you have been made the righteousness of God, justified in Christ Jesus, just as if you had never sinned! Hallelujah!
