How Well Do You Know Him?

Often times I hear people refer to the Holy Spirit as "It" or "Something," as in, "Something" told me not to pick up the phone. On the contrary, the Holy Spirit is not an it or a thing. He is a Person, God the Holy Spirit, in fact. And as a person, He wants relationship, He speaks, He urges, He impresses. I remember once when the Holy Spirit impressed upon me to go by the home of a friend. I was about to make an important decision, and upon yielding to that impression, found out some very critical information that would affect my decision. In John 14:26 Jesus says, The Holy Spirit will teach you all things... He wants you to spend time with Him...to get to know Him, so that He can be your Teacher, Guide and Comforter.
